The positioning of the head, alignment of the shoulder girdle, strength of the upper back, and openness of the chest are of primary importance in developing the skill to maintaining neutral alignment for optimal posture.

In this two week series we will practice yoga postures that are directly targeted to address the postural, functional and structural conditions of the neck and shoulders.

Students learn movements that they can practice at home that are simple and easy.

Injuries and problems o f t h e h i p j o i n t s a n d surrounding tissue can be from arthritis, muscle weakness and underuse, repetitive stress injuries and overuse and overstretching causing tears in the connective tissue.

All these are common and annoying side effects associated with inflammation, swelling and burning pain that can also influence the lower back and knees.

Join us as we practice simple but effective yoga postures that you can practice at home to bring about improvement in your hip discomfort.
