Soulful Sunday at the Solebury Club

 Sunday, September 14th, 2014

You are invited to The Solebury Club's community yoga class.  The class is open to the public with a suggested donation of $10.  Participants must be able to come in and out of poses in a timely manner with ease.

Each month, on the second Sunday, we invite you to experience the different styles of yoga that The Solebury Club has to offer and to be of service to your larger community.  Every month instructors will choose a charitable cause that is near and dear to their heart, all collected donations will benefit their cause.

We invite you to bring a friend, try out different styles of yoga, help build our community and feed your soul.

Date:               Sunday, September 14th from 10:30-11:30 AM

Instructor:       Nicole Dooley, RYT-200

Style:               Vinyasa Yoga

Benefiting:      The Parkinson Council

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease much like ALS, Alzheimer's or Huntington's disease.  Nicole's dad was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease in 2001.  Since that time, the advances in medicine have been tremendous, some might even say miraculous. There have been times that he has been wheelchair-bound, however as a result of deep brain stimulation and advances in medicines, he has been able to ride a bike again and is most recently taking yoga classes.

Currently, there is no cure, but miracles do happen, we just need to take time to notice them.  With your help we can slow down the disease and provide significant impact for people with Parkinson's disease in the Greater Delaware Valley area. Your donation to The Parkinson Council enables them to make direct investments in local partner organizations supporting research, education, treatment, and services.  These highly-focused, locally-based efforts build a community of hope and inspiration for patients, families, and caregivers affected by Parkinson's disease.

The Dooley Family will be matching donations for this event, up to $200.

The Solebury Club is located at 4612 Hughesian Drive in Buckingham.  You can find more information at .  Please call 215-794-3494 to register.
