The hip joint is made up of the thigh bone and the pelvic bone making a ball and socket joint. This serves as an anchor for several muscles in the area.

Injuries and problems of the hip joints and surrounding tissue can be from arthritis, muscle weakness and underuse, repetitive stress injuries and overuse and over stretching causing tears in the connective tissue.

All these are common and annoying side effects associated with inflammation, swelling and burning pain that can also influence the lower back and knees.

Join us as we practice simple but effective yoga postures that you can practice at home to bring about improvement in your hip discomfort.
