YOGADHARMA 300 -our signature yoga immersion and transformational teacher training

PRACTICE the 8 traditional limbs of yoga, including:

Asana — excellent asana instruction, incorporating a      system of precise alignment (applicable to all forms from gentle to      advanced practice), the art of flow, and the cultivation of subtle body      awareness;Meditation — develop a toolbox of methods, for total      beginners on up;Chanting and mantra work;Pranayama — breathing practices;Ethical living — the art of becoming who youwant to become;Practical ways to apply the teachings to yourday-to-day life;

PREPARE to teach by also studying:

Subtle Body Anatomy;Therapeutic Yoga;Anatomy and Physiology;Chanting - how to include chanting and mantra in your      practices and/or your classes (with recording artist, Mercedes Bahleda);Ayurveda (with Maureen Shortt);Sanskrit Learn how to pronounce the pose names (and      read other people's tattoos)! (with Jessica Kung & Stéphane Dreyfus);Karmic Management and the Business of Teaching Yoga


Teachings on Karma & Emptiness;Yogic Mythology — who are all those deities anyway?Yoga Sutras;The open teachings of Mahamudra, the Great Seal;Lam Rim;What TRANSFORMS a strong practitioner into a strong      teacher?Move beyond study into the art of teaching- and bring      the wisdom teachings seamlessly into your classes;Leading vs. Teaching;Verbal Adjustments and Physical Adjustments;Protecting your students;Vinyasa Krama - the synergy of sequencing;How to teach with a theme;Public classes vs. private lessons;The business of being a yoga teacher;Developing your teaching voice;The integrity of the teacher/student relationship;How to teach meditation and yoga philosophy;The logistics of planning a class;plus... receive one-on-one feedback and mentoring!

Only 1-2 weekends per month, totaling 15 weekends
Class Hours: Fridays 5:00 – 9:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12:00 – 6:00 pm

A regular yoga practice, a commitment to developing a meditation practice, an open heart and a desire to inspire and revolutionize your practice, life, and world! We highly recommend that you prepare by attending public yoga classes with Amy at The Solebury Club, Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday 9:30-11:00 am.

July 15: Deadline for Early Bird. Tuition discounted to $4500. This is also the deadline for financial aid applications.

After July 15: Registration will be accepted through program start, if space remains available, at the regular tuition of $4800.

The program fills each year, so we strongly recommend applying as early as possible. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within ten days of acceptance to secure your space. Please make all payments directly The Solebury Club.
